Congratulations to Caitlin and Tyler on their first year of marriage! This is the third time I’ve shot this couple. I am so blessed by their friendship to be able to take photos at all their important moments.
You may have heard this story before. I met Caitlin when we were camp counselors for Girl Scouts. I took portraits of her a few months later; then when she and Tyler got engaged, I took their engagement photos; when it was time for the wedding, I partnered with my old friend Alec Corona to shoot their wedding, but before the wedding I did Caitlin’s bridals.
One year after their wedding, Caitlin asked me to do their first anniversary shoot. We did it at the Dallas Heritage Village, which is where I did Caitlin’s bridals. I love the location because there are many wonderful spots. For this shoot, we focused on this gorgeous white mansion which is my topic pick within the village.
Both of them wore orange which complimented well with the blue decor that Caitlin set up along the mansion’s porch. Those decorations were all done by hand by Caitlin. She got very crafty for her shoot.
