Wheeler Family | Holiday Portraits

Sometimes thing just happen, and you have to roll with it. I didn’t expect it to rain; there wasn’t any rain in the forecast. However, as I waited for the Wheeler family, it started to rain. It wasn’t awful enough for me to call of the shoot. It wasn’t coming down hard enough that it would damage my equipment. I honestly thought it would pass quickly. That’s how it always goes though, right? The things that cause a disruption in our lives don’t always pass as quickly as we think. The light mist continued through the entire session, unfortunately, but the Wheeler family powered through! That’s we all have to do, just power through and keep moving forward even if the rain lasts a little longer than we would like.

The Wheeler family didn’t complain about the mist. They didn’t ask about rescheduling. They kept going and looking ever so sweet and adorable. We found moments to laugh and have fun - especially when Randy and Ian played Star Wars. That's also part of powering through the rain having fun in the moments as well!

We were able to get some adorable photos that they can cherish forever! I also designed their holiday card according to how mama Candace requested. They chose to send out the card virtually in order to save money, and I think that's a brilliant idea! It's a great alternative if your family needs to save a little money during the holidays, but still want to take part in an honored tradition.
