Psoriasister is a blog geared towards writing about psoriasis in a happier and hopeful tone. The creator, Clair Daly, has psoriasis and she wanted to create a community for those who struggle with psoriasis. Using a script handwritten typeface gives a fun, feminine, and playful appearance to the blog. The rose in the center uses shapes that relate back to the uneven blotches of psoriasis. A yellow rose represents friendship, which is part of the mission of the Psoriasister blog. After creating the main logo, I then developed alternative logos and markers. For the alternative, I LOVED the idea of shortening Psoriasister to PS - as if it's a note from a dear friend. The markers emphasize the rose in different ways. Psoriasister also has a Facebook page that I developed the cover photo for, and an Instagram.
