Arianna T. | SEU Class of 2018
I love how St. Edward’s University brings so many people from around the world! Arianna is from El Salvador, but she spent the past four years at St. Edward’s working towards her marketing degree! Arianna wanted half of her session to show off the Austin skyline and the other half on campus. More than anything, Arianna said she would miss Austin after she moved to Miami. It was a bit chilly out for her graduation session, but Arianna was playing off the weather like it was nothing! We started at a park near Lady Bird Lake (technically the Colorado River, but Austin is weird like that) and grab some gorgeous photos of her in the best city. Honestly, I have no idea what that area is actually called. It’s between the Zilker Dog Park and the S. 1st Street Bridge - maybe it is part of the Dog Park? I was very surprised at the number of people running in the morning when it was so cold outside! My fingers were numb by the end of the session. I’m in love with the photos we got when we were by the river, though! They’re classic Austin, and Arianna is a natural in front of the camera!
After spending about 30 minutes at that location, we then went back to campus for some very classic St. Ed’s photos. I always have my top places that I take grads (red doors, Sorin Oak, and the courtyard area behind Main building), but I always love it when grads tell me a special place that has meaning to them! To me, it’s so important that they have photos that tell their story and their life on the Hilltop and in Austin.
