Kali W. | St. Edward's University | Class of 2019
Weather in Texas is a funny thing. The temperature can constantly fluctuate and there have been times when we experience all four seasons in one day. This can make planning photoshoots a little difficult especially when dealing with time sensitive sessions, like graduation sessions. I always try to make a session happen even if the weather isn’t the best but if it’s raining and storming, we have to reschedule. Luckily, that didn’t happen for Kali! The day of Kali’s session Austin was plagued with storms all day. Luckily, the clouds cleared up in time for Kali’s classic grad session.
Kali is spending her last semester student teaching first graders. Once she graduates, she will have her bachelor’s in teaching, but Kali has big dreams. She is hoping to move to Chile or Spain and teach abroad for a year! Her session was all sorts of classic and gorgeous. Kali chose to wear a royal blue dress in honor of St. Edward’s University and then she changed into jeans and a maroon top for a more casual look. I love giving my grads the opportunity to wear multiple outfits because I get the chance to see their different styles. Once Kali changed out of a dress and into jeans and a blouse, I could feel how more comfortable she felt in jeans rather than a dress.
