Mini Sessions 2018

Hello! I’m so excited that you’re interested in booking a mini session with me this holiday season! I will be holding my first mini session day on Saturday, November 3rd at Circle C Metro Park. Sessions will last 20 minutes, which is perfect if you want an updated family portrait, need a photo for holiday cards, need a new headshot, or if you just want cute photos of yourself - because treat yo self! Mini sessions are $90 and you will receive 4 fully edited photos that you get to CHOOSE from your online preview gallery. You’ll then receive full download and printing rights for the 4 photos you’ve chosen. Time slots for the sessions are as follows:

4:45pm - 5:05pm

5:15pm - 5:35pm

5:45pm - 6:05pm

6:15pm - 6:35pm

Please send me an email if you are interested in booking any of these time slots:

When is payment due?

Due to the nature of mini sessions being shorter sessions at an amazing discount, payment is required upfront to reserve your spot as well as a signed contract.

In the event that I can’t make my mini session time, is it possible to be refunded or reschedule?

I will honor 100% refunds for mini sessions 48 hours after you’ve booked with me incase you realize that you actually can’t make that day (family coming in town, forgot you have a celebration to attend, etc.). After 48 hours, I will not offer refunds, but you are welcome to gift to mini session to someone else! I will not be rescheduling sessions due to individual client reasons, but please contact me if you have any concerns (I understand family emergencies can happen).

What happens if it rains?

If it rains on Saturday, Nov. 3rd during your mini session, then we will reschedule for the following day, Sunday Nov. 4. So, please keep the evening of Sunday Nov. 4 open in case there is rain on that Saturday. If both Saturday and Sunday are rained out, my deepest apologies for the inconvenience, and I will contact clients individually at that point to reschedule their sessions individually.

Who can come to your session?

Anyone can come - spouses, children, and even pets! I love dogs, by the way. If you do bring a dog, please make sure someone is available to watch and hold the dog when we are not working with him/her (preferably someone who will not be in any of the photos). Mini sessions are perfect for smaller sized families (max 6) due to the time sensitive nature of a mini session. If you belong to a large family, please ask me about your other options!

What can I expect during my session?

20 minutes of energetic fun! I’ll coach and guide you into poses while also giving you the freedom to have fun and show your true selves! I also keep an eye out for light, so we may move around a little bit to get the best looking light.

How do I prepare for my session?

We’ll chat a lot as to what you want and how to make the most out of your time! If you have little kids, I recommend explaining to them about taking photos and making sure that they’ve had plenty of rest before your session. You should also get some rest as well so you look and feel great while we’re taking photos!

What should I wear?!

Picking out portrait outfits are so much fun, but also a bit troubling - especially when you’ve got a whole family to coordinate. Where we will be shooting in Circle C has a lot of Green and yellow tones from the grass and trees. We’ll be shooting in tall grass and in a field with trees around us. I always suggest my clients where something that makes them feel confident! An outfit that got you a lot of compliments is a good choice! During my full one hour sessions, I allow for multiple outfit changes, but for my minis, you only get one. Feel free to chat with me about outfit decisions!

Can I bring props?

For a mini shoot, I don’t allow extra props or styled scenes to be built due to time constraints, but if you have a sign or something in particular (like a baby announcement or something that says ‘Happy Holidays’) Let me know and we can chat about it! 20 minutes goes by quickly.

How early should I arrive to my time slot?

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your session time. Since I have time slots with only a short amount of time in between, it’s important that we start and end as scheduled.
