I’m basically obsessed with the photos that I’m sharing with you. Victoria and Dylon were amazing to photograph and work with. I know Victoria through our shared Bible study/Life Group/Girl Friend Time, and thus I know Dylon. It’s been so beautiful to see their relationship from the months leading up to their wedding to now. The two will be celebrating their Year One in December, and I LOVE these photos that celebrate their love!
We had a very rainy Fall in Austin. It seemed for two months we had almost constant rain and cloudy skies. We had a little bit of a break when we took Victoria and Dylon’s photos. I brought them to Walnut Creek which has definitely become a hidden gem of a location for shooting, and I definitely want to go there more often!
Victoria was sending me photos of outfits the hours leading up to our session, and I’m so glad on the outfit she landed on. The cranberry tones compliment her beautifully and they feel so holiday-ish. I’m such a fun of the button-down Dylon wore. There are little blue stars on it that definitely add to the holiday look.
These two definitely brought the fire to their session! Growing up, I watched So You Think You Can Dance, a reality tv show competition about dance broadcasted on Fox, and the judge Mary Murphy would say when one of the contestants was on the Hot Tamale train (which was a good thing). That’s what I felt like during this entire session! Victoria was also amazing at working with me to do some shots I’ve always wanted to try. I finally bought some fairy lights (found some inexpensive ones at Target) and got to play with them.
I hope y’all enjoy looking through these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
